Dog's Portrait

Dog Project

The dog project is a fun and interactive project for members and their pets. However, you do not need to own a dog to participate in the project! Subjects taught include safe handling, showmanship, breeds/identification, basic training, and animal stewardship.

Chicken

Poultry Project

The poultry project is a comprehensive project that covers everything from breed and body type identification to advanced nutrition. Members learn holistic care for their animals, however, they do not need to own a chicken to participate! 

4-Hers making sugar scrubs

Arts & Crafts

The Arts & Crafts project is a very fun and dynamic project for members to participate in. Subjects change monthly from bead crafts, soap making, art projects, painting, and so much more! This project routinely has guest speakers so it's a new and fun craft each time! 

4-Hers on a hike in San Diego

Outdoor Adventure

The Outdoor Adventure project aims to get members out and about throughout North County San Diego! Members go on beautiful hikes, ice skating, bike rides, and even coordinated sailing trips! This project is subject to weather and other availability, however it's a wonderful way to get members active and having FUN outdoors!

4-Her baking a cake

Cooking/ Baking

The Cooking and Baking project teaches members the wonderful art of being creative in the kitchen! Members learn things like making cornbread, holiday cakes, and even sustainable farm to fork practices! If you have a creative cooking streak, this is the project for you!

Gardening Project

In the gardening project, youth will learn how to plan, plant, maintain and cultivate their own plant life for various opportunities! This project gives youth the chance to learn that plants play a vital role for both humans and animals. This project also reinforces the concepts of: appreciation of nature, plant growth and development, and science/nutrition. Come watch us GROW!
